United by a common principle of symmetrical geometry, the Palissade collection is engineered to reproduce the same visual simplicity and core strength throughout. Designed in colour and form to integrate effortlessly into a natural landscape or urban setting, Palissade is intended to be used over a longer period of time and become more beautiful over the years.The furniture’s longevity is greatly extended by the hot dip galvanisation process, where the steel frames are dipped in molten zinc, forming a resilient coating over the entire steel surface, protecting against corrosion and offering a maintenance-free finish. The collection is suited to a wide variety of environments, from cafés and restaurants to gardens, terraces and balconies.

Palissade is a collection of outdoor furniture designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY. The collection was designed to fit a wide variety of environments: cafés, restaurants, gardens, terraces and balconies. The construction allows a wide range of typologies with a common formal language. From stools and benches to chairs and tables, lounge chairs and sofas – the collection comprises 13 different elements, united not only by their graphical image but also by their common characteristics: they are strong without being bulky, elegant without being fragile.
