The bottom of the table is embossed with the KnollStudio logo and the signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The top is covered with clear, polished plate glass. The frame and structure are welded steel. The construction is in polished chrome only. The table was awarded the Museum of Modern Art Prize in 1977.
